Summer is fading and the aroma of fall is all around us. We sense that fresh coolness in the morning and evening air. We often relish this change. With the advent of fall we re-establish our routines and schedules: school, mealtimes, bedtimes, packing lunches, homework, sport practices and games, and music lessons. In this voice studio lessons begin the week of Sept. 19th. I like to allow students time to settle into their new daily routines before adding in their voice lessons. Voice lessons are a serious commitment of time and energy and by doing this I feel students do not feel overwhelmed.
Here are some lovely recordings of autumn music for a tasty treat to your autumn feast. Since this time last year I was in New York I had to include Frank Sinatra’s edition of “Autumn in New York”. Enjoy!
